CASILIAN Share New Single ‘As We Grow Up’

Norwegian band CASILIAN, formed by brothers Lucas J. and Mikael B. Roussel and Liene Drubina, have just shared their brand new single As We Grow Up, as nostalgia-infused piece of indie-pop music out now via the Tune Park Records. 

 

I am loving Liene Drubina's emotive vocal delivery and how they instantly draw the listener's attention to their relatable storytelling. As We Grow Up is a song about how Christmas celebrations get us reflecting on life, realising the importance of the people around you and the joy and gratitude of growing older together. This message is wrapped around a memorable blend of rock, electronica and folk elements that make the song quite an enthralling listening experience. I am particularly fond of the emotive piano chords, the haunting backing vocals, punchy drums and soaring guitar riffs near the end of the song that enhances the intensity of their emotional and nostalgic storytelling.
