A Choir of Ghosts Shares New Single ‘Do You Remember?’
A Choir of Ghosts, the moniker of Swedish alt-folk musician James Auger, has just shared his brand new single Do You Remember?, a lovely indie-folk song out now via Greywood Records.
Do You Remember? is a song about the very relatable fear of getting old and dying before you feel like you really lived your life. I have this fear and feelings a little too often for my liking and I really like how A Choir of Ghosts beautifully brings these feelings in the shape of a lovely indie folk-tinged pop song. This meaningful storytelling is wrapped around intricate acoustic and electric guitar riffs that are nicely paired with steady percussion that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere for his rich, expressive vocals to soar. The song is basically about my weird fear of getting old or dying before I've felt like I've lived my life. It's also a little story of what me and my wife have been through over the past 8 years.
