Róisín O Shares New Single ‘Still Gold’

Irish singer and songwriter Róisín O has just shared her brand new single Still Gold, the third single to be taken from her upcoming EP set to arrive later this year.

I am a fan of Róisín's powerful vocals and how beautifully they soar over the infectious indie-pop/rock production. Produced by Grammy award winning producer Ruadhri Cushnan and co-written with Miracle Bell’s John Broe, Still Gold is a song for a lost love, and how you can still remain deeply connected to someone even though you’ve both changed and drifted away. This message is wrapped around gritty resonator guitar lines that carry you through the verses and land you in addictive vocal hooks in every chorus. Róisín O's powerfull, passionate vocals are definitely the star of the song, instantly drawing us to her story of betrayal, confusion, and the unwavering friendship of love. Of truly knowing someone, even when they stray from life’s path and make mistakes. Check it out below!

Speaking about the new single Róisín says,
Still Gold is a track that detaches itself from the emotionally worn path of resentment after a breakup. It’s a response to watching someone you once loved falling on hard times, but instead of relishing in their pain, you actually want to be there for them, but you can’t be. To you..they are ‘Still Gold’.
