Maisy Kay Shares New Single ‘Mascara Tears’

UK-raised, LA-based singer and songwriter Maisy Kay has just shared her brand new single Mascara Tears, her first single release on BMG (Worldwide). 

 

Co-written with the legendary Billy Idol, Mascara Tears is a bright piece of pop music about someone that can't seem to keep a healthy relationship, continuously sabotaging their relationships as if they enjoy the pain of heartache. At least this is my interpretation of the song and how sometimes we chase sorrow as we feel comfortable with that feeling. This message is wrapped around a polished production that gives it a positive, upbeat spin thanks to its infectious beat and bright, shimmering synths. The chorus is perfect to sing along to and Maisy Kay's vocals are music to my ears.
