HOAX Unveil New Single ‘goldeneyes’

New York-based indie pop-rock band HOAX, the musical brainchild of Michael Raj and Frantz Cesar, have just unveiled their brand new single goldeneyes, an introspective indie-alternative song.

The 8th single to be taken from their upcoming narrative-driven debut and concept album, b?, goldeneyes is an exploration into our human needs and desires. The title of the song derives from a fictional drug that was created in which you drop a chemical onto your eye and experience hallucinogenic effects where you are only selectively seeing the fantastical visions that your mind wants to see. The effects are very real and highly addictive, and is known for its serious and intense comedown, as immense depression immediately follows the momentary euphoric bliss.

This song shows that focusing on love, trust, and empathy is the best way to reach that feeling of happiness we all want and is wrapped around a highly addictive production. I am loving those gorgeous vocals that flow beautifully over groovy guitars that are nicely paired with a killer bass and bright, hazy synths that create an overall feel-good, laid-back atmosphere perfect for those chill weekends at home.
