Felicia Lu Shares New Single ‘Anxiety’
Following the release of her debut EP, Relations, out now via GRS MUSIC / Global Rockstar GmbH, which includes the punchy single In Your Hands, German singer and songwriter Felicia Lu shares a brand new electro-pop single titled Anxiety.
Like its title implies, Anxiety is a song about trying to overcome one's anxiety and the uncontrollable overthinking that comes from it. The song is a picture of what someone struggling with anxiety goes through when trying to fight it and is wrapped around a polished electro-pop production on which her gorgeous vocals soar effortlessly over. Apart from her lush vocals, I am particularly fond of the catchy beat and groovy guitar riffs that enhance the emotion of her storytelling but also create a punchy and energetic atmosphere that makes Anxiety a cool song for the weekend. Speaking about the song, Felicia Lu said,
Anxiety is a song I wrote one late night in the studio with thoughts racing through my mind, uncontrollable overthinking, trying to overcome anxiety itself. I wanted to capture my process of fighting it and tried to put the feeling into the song with fast, rushing thoughts represented by the fast and wordy post-chorus.
