Ellur Shares New Single ‘Burn It All Down’
British indie-pop singer and songwriter Ellur has just shared her brand new single Burn It All Down, the second single to be taken from her upcoming EP Moments set to arrive on December 16th via Dance To The Radio.
I am a fan of Ellur's Ellur's warm, luscious vocals which are packed with so much confidence and emotion that effortlessly connects the listener to her relatable storytelling. Recorded and Produced by Lee Smith at Greenmount Studios in Leeds (Holly Humberstone / Easy Life), Burn It All Down is a song about wanting to run away from turbulent relationships and coming out stronger on the other side.
This relatable song is wrapped around a memorable 80's pop-infused production with catchy drum machines nicely paired with thumping bass lines, bright synths and groovy guitar riffs. I am very fond of her lush harmonies and how the chorus is perfect to sing along to, giving the song somewhat of an anthemic touch perfect for summer sunset parties. Definitely a memorable listening experience which I think you will enjoy. Accompanying the release, Ellur has shared its self-directed music video which as a cool chill, feel-good atmosphere that I really like. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Ellur explains,
When we took it to the studio, the chorus really came alive. Lee said he thought it was an “arms in the air, sunset at a festival” kind of vibe… and now that’s exactly what I think I’m going for!
