All The Queen’s Horses Shares New Single ‘A Letter of Recommendation to the Angels’
All The Queen's Horses, the dark indie project by Irish singer and songwriter Sean William Murphy, has just shared his brand new single A Letter of Recommendation to the Angels, another gem taken from his debut album, The Dark Below & The Isle Of Dogs, out now via Echoism Records.
I am a fan of All The Queen's Horses tone and how his vocal delivery is packed with raw, honest emotion, beautifully connecting us to his storytelling. His passionate vocal delivery is backed by lovely female vocals and haunting harmonies which effortlessly enhance the emotion pouring from his vocals. I am also very fond of the delicate, emotive piano chords that are nicely paired with lush strings which create a warm and intimate atmospehre that makes the song perfect for those introspective days home alone. A very good friend of mine’s husband died unexpectedly in his early 30's. Their marriage was nearly 10 years when he passed and they were both extremely young. This was written to commemorate that. I said I would give it a go, it was received fairly well.
