Aisha Badru Shares New Single ‘Rooted’

Following her lovely song Rebirth, American indie-folk singer and songwriter Aisha Badru has just shared her brand new single Rooted, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming EP, The Way Back Home, set to arrive on December 3rd via Nettwerk Records. 

 

Just like her previous single, it's Aisha Badru's voice that drew my attention to this song as they are quite smooth and dulcet, effortlessly infusing a dreamy and ethereal vive to the song. Rooted is a song about realising one's self-worth and being in a place that feels like home and helps you grow as a person. Apart from her dreamy vocals, I am very fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs that are nicely paired with a spacious bath of atmospheric synths that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a relaxing, introspective day at home.
