Brooklyn based artist & producer small dogs has just shared his brand new single vieques & dark rum, an r&b tinged piece of indie-pop music out now via Lost on Beach Road. 

 

For this song, small dogs teamed up with Costa Rican American artist Kelly Vargas whose smokey vocals are nicely paired with his dreamy falsetto. With sleazy guitars and a lazy groove, steel drums and a sampled parrot (named Luanne), this song pulls you between the palms into a love story on a hot Caribbean island. I am particularly fond of the fuzzy guitar riffs and overall warm, laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing summer weekend. Check it out below!
