Eiza Murphy Shares New Single ‘Movies’

Los Angeles-based Irish singer and songwriter Eiza Murphy has just shared her brand new single Movies, a catchy piece of electro-pop music about daydreaming and escaping reality. 

 

Written during the last UK lockdown, Movies explores those moments home alone lost in our minds, imagining how your life would look like if it was written for a movie. I am a fan of Eiza Murphy's hypnotic, emotive vocals and how they glide effortlessly over the warm production. I am particularly fond of the groovy guitar riffs throughout the song which are nicely paired with a cool bass and warm atmospherics that enhance the song's cinematic touch. The chorus is perfect to sing along to and the whole atmosphere of the song is quite soothing and perfect for an introspective day home alone. Check it out below!
