Charly Haze Shares New Single ‘Getaway Car’

Dutch London-based singer and songwriter Charly Haze has just shared her brand new single Getaway Car, the title track of her debut EP out now! 

 

I am a fan of Charly's vocals and how they effortlessly connect the listener to her honest storytelling. Borrowing influences from ‘80s pop, modern alt-pop and synthwave, Getaway Car is one of Charly's most infectious and memorable songs. Co-written by songwriter/producer David Westmeijer this song touches upon charly leaving Amsterdam behind and starting out fresh by moving to London. I am really enjoying the reetro touch, bright synths and warm percussion that has a captivating dose of melancholia, making this song perfect for those long drives on a late summer's day. Definitely one of my favourite songs of Charly's and I think you will enjoy it as much as I am. Check it out below!
