The Song Tailors Unveil New Single ‘Waiting for Abbey Road’

The Song Tailors, the project of Australian songwriter Ruth Picker, has just shared her brand new single Waiting for Abbey Road, a warm piece of acoustic/folk music. 

 I am very fond of Muireann's gorgeous vocals which are packed with tons of heart and emotion, effortlessly connecting us to Ruth Picker's storytelling. Waiting for Abbey Road is a relatable song about how we can't control everything in our lives and how we had to adapt to disruption, something that was enhanced by the pandemic and its lockdowns. I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs that create a warm and intimate atmosphere for Muireann's lush vocals to soar. Quite a lovely piece of music perfect for a relaxing weekend at home. Check it out below!
