Salt Ashes Unveils New Single ‘Love, Love’
London-based, Brighton born singer Salt Ashes (Veiga Sanchez) has just shared her brand new single Love, Love, the second single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore album.
Out now via Radikal Records, Love, Love is a hym to unrequited love and continues to showcase Sal Ashes' refreshing and dark edge to pop music. I am loving her confident, effortless vocal delivery which is nicely backed by an upbeat electro-pop production. I am particularly fond of the lovely synths that are beautifully intertwined with punchy bass lines that give the song a danceable touch. This is one of those songs I'd play when I want an extra dose of energy and self-confidence, with its infectious chorus being perfect to sing along to and the song having an overall feel-good atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song Salt Ashes says,
This is a song for all the commitment-phobic people out there. I wrote it when I started dating an old friend… I couldn’t get my head clear on what I wanted, which is unusual for me, or the worry of it ruining our friendship if it didn’t work out. Normally I’d do a runner at the first sight of a relationship getting even slightly serious but this had me questioning whether to try staying for once and giving it a go.
