Max Edwards & Andrada Share New Single ‘Never Have I Ever’
Canadian singer and songwriter Max Edwards has teamed up with Romanian singer-songwriter Andrada to delivery an upbeat pop song titled Never Have I Ever.
Written during the lockdown over FaceTime and Zoom, Never Have I Ever tells the story of two best friends secretly in love, both too afraid to admit it. They've had it all, yet never have they ever had each other. I am really enjoying how Max's voice blends perfectly with Andrada's harmonies and how they easily convey the emotion of their storytelling.
Produced by hit-maker Magic Juice, the song brings infectious funk vibes to a captivating electro-pop production packed with cool piano keys, steady percussion and catchy electronics that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. I am particularly fond of the groovy guitar riffs and how the song oozes feel-good summer vibes. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Andrada said,
We wrote the song over Zoom and FaceTime during the lockdown and I must admit coordinating time zones has been a pain. We ended up doing writing sessions at 3 AM for me, but lucky for Max that is my prime time when I'm most inspired and creative. Once we decided on the title and concept, it was all smooth sailing from there on.

This collab has proven to me once again that where there’s a will, there's a way because I never thought I'd write a song with someone living on the other side of the globe that I've never met in person. It's been an interesting challenge and I couldn't have wished for a better outcome.
