Josh Moreira Shares New Single ‘Fingertips’

South African singer, songwriter and producer Josh Moreira has just shared his brand new single Fingertips, an upbeat electro-pop song taken from his debut EP, Homegrown, out now via Red Bird Records.

I am loving the tone of his distinctive vocals which are super smooth and flow effortlessly over the warm electronic production. I am also very fond of the production around the vocals that give the song a cool edge and makes it stand out even more. Fingertips is a relatable song about the shallow love many have during high school, and the fear of not really knowing that person even if they are your world at that time. Not only did Josh write and perform this song but also produced, mixed and mastered it all by himself in his bedroom, which showcases how much of a multi-talented artist he is.

The production is quite polished and I am particularly fond of the drum patterns, gorgeous bassline, delicate piano keys and lush, etheral-like synths that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere that oozes fun, carefree summer days. I've got this gem on repeat and I think you will love it as much as I am. Accompanying the release, Josh Moreira has shared its official music video which effortlessly embodies the song's warm, feel-good atmosphere. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Josh Moreira said,

This song was the first one I made on my EP, Homegrown. I produced, mixed and mastered it all by myself in my bedroom. Fingertips is about that shallow love a lot of us have in high school, where emotional connection takes a backseat to lust. However, underneath that is the fear of not really knowing someone even though they make up your entire world.
