Ellur Shares New Single ‘Moments’

British indie-pop singer and songwriter Ellur has just shared her brand new single Moments, an infectious song about reclaiming power after heartbreak and growing from the experience.
Out now via Dance To The Radio, Moments is a relatable song that follows the period after a breakup and how slowly you reclaim your power and grow as a person from such experience. I think most of us can relate to the song and I love how it is wrapped around a retro, 80s atmosphere that makes it perfect to be in the soundtrack of one of those 80s coming of age films. Ellur's warm, luscious vocals are so beautiful and strong, instantly drawing the listener's attention to her storytelling. Those lush synths are beautifully intertwined with punchy drums and soaring guitars that create an overall feel-good and euphoric atmosphere. Definitely a song I'll be playing several times and if you're into 80s music you will have a blast listening to this song. Check it out below!
Speaking about Moments, Ellur said,
I wrote Moments last winter after a breakup and it was this really sad, brooding ballad, but it really transformed when we took it to the studio. It became a sort of happier reflection on that relationship and the better times of it. The final section where I really go for it, is probably my favourite bit and the lines"But all the years I'd trade, for a second to stay, in this moment we made" are some of my favourite lyrics I've written.
