Dear Elephant Share New Single ‘Smells Like Thunder’

Dear Elephant, the collaborative project between Irish artist Eimear O’Sullivan (EMR), Romanian brothers Rares Diaconu and Razvan Diaconu (The Kyrptonite Sparks) and Swedish artist Tove Tejler (TOVE), have just shared their first single Smells Like Thunder, out now via Banana Records / Danube Sounds. 

 

I am really enjoying the smooth, dreamy vocals and how they infuse a soothing touch to the upbeat indie-pop production. Smells Like Thunder is a relatable song about online friendships and the excitement of meeting IRL for the first time. This message is wrapped around a captivating retro-tinged production packed with soaring guitar riffs nicely intertwined with catchy percussion and bright, shimmering synths that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere.
