Mo Klé Shares New Single ‘The One’

Mo Klé, the moniker of Swiss singer and songwriter René Grünenfelder, has just shared his brand new single The One, a sun-soaked piece of indie pop music out now via Horse Behind A House Records.

I am really enjoying the tone of his vocals and how expressive his vocal delivery is, instantly connecting the listener to his storytelling. Taken from his upcoming album Parallel Worlds, set to arrive in October, The One is a relatable song that revolves around the expectations of ‘the one’ great love we are all hoping for and the subsequent disappointment when everything vanishes into thin air. 

This message is wrapped around a memorable indie-pop production packed with intricate guitar riffs that are nicely paired with subtle organ and percussion that give the song a warm and intimate atmosphere. This is one of those songs that I'd play when I want to unwind after a stressful day and I love how it oozes laid-back, summer vibes. Accompanying the release, Mo Klé has shared its official music video, directed by Rafael Farias, which was shot in my lovely country Portugal and beautifully enhances the song's chill vibes.
