Los Angeles-based mystifying alt pop singer and songwriter Royal & the Serpent has just shared her brand new single girls, out now via Atlantic Records.

Taken from her self-reflective EP, searching for nirvana (out now), girls features fellow artist phem and is a memorable piece of indie-electronic music with a dark touch. I am a fan of Royal & the Serpent's vocals and how confident her vocal delivery is, soaring effotlessly over the infectious production. I am particularly fond of the heavy guitars and how the chorus has an anthemic touch that is perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!
