FUR Share ‘The Fine Line of Quiet Life’ Music Video

British band FUR have just shared the official music video for their high-energy new single The Fine of Quiet Life, out now via Boy Pablo's 777 Music.

I am loving the energy of this song that is guaranteed to get you in a good mood in no time. I was a bit sleepy but this song just woke me up and I am ready to go on for more hours! The Fine Line of Quiet Life is an infectious piece of Brit-pop/rock music about reflecting on where you feel you should be in your life, and all the pressure that comes from others to act your age. Until you realise you can't change the past and you should just move on with your life. This relatable message is wrapped around a high-energy production with confident vocal delivery flowing effortlessly over soaring guitars (my favourite element of the song) and punchy percussion.

Accompanying the release, the band have just shared its official music video, directed by Kris R, which is set upon a raucous bus journey to the chalk white cliffs of Seven Sisters in East Sussex. Check it out below!

Murray from FUR had the following to say about the band's first single for their new label,

"The Fine Line Of A Quiet Life" is a documentation of mixed messages you give yourself and take from others about where you feel you should be in your life, and where you’re at. It’s about self reflection and understanding. It’s about detaching yourself from situations you’ve already been in and know the outcome of. Much like growing up, you learn not to do certain things and slowly but surely you learn that there’s a ‘fine line’ of what lifestyle becomes acceptable the older you get and also what you can hack as an adult (that maybe doesn’t feel too much like one). The feeling of regret and ‘how could I be so blind’ that everyone has felt in relationships that really only comes out once it’s done is something that also goes hand in hand with a mutual respect for a collapsed relationship, and that there’s no undoing of things you’ve done - it’s best to just move on and suck it up.
