New York-based singer and songwriter Simone has just shared her brand new single Wine, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming Love Lessons EP, set to arrive this summer.
I am a fan of her warm, silky-smooth vocals and how they glide beautifully over the polished pop production, instantly connecting the listener to her effortless storytelling. Wine is one of Simone's most vulnerable and personal songs she's ever written and its infectious melodies paired with her gorgeous, expressive vocals, infectious hook and warm production made it go viral on TikTok. Speaking about the song, Simone said,
“Wine” is a song that I am so incredibly proud of. The bridge includes some of my favorite lyrics I’ve ever written, and once I finished writing it I shared it on social media and it went viral on TikTok and Instagram. The response was so unexpected that I decided to record the full song and include it last minute as a track on my upcoming EP love lessons. “wine" is one of the more vulnerable and personal songs I’ve written, so it’s been really exciting to see people love it as much as I do.
