NGAIIRE Shares New Single ‘Closer’
Sydney-based future soul singer and songwriter NGAIIRE has just shared her brand new single Closer, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming album set to arrive via Majestic Casual.
I am loving her powerful, soulful vocals and how they soar effortlessly over the captivating soul/r&b-infused electronic production. Closer is a gorgeous love song wrapped around an 80s-tinged production packed with a memorable driving beat and lush synths. The song also has some cool summer vibes that make me think of those warm, sunsets by the beach with a special someone. Definitely a great song with powerful vocals, tons of emotion and a beat that got stuck to my head right after the very first listen. Check it out below!

This is my sweaty 80’s summer love song. It’s the ‘I want you, I’ll drop everything including these panties for you whenever you’re near so don’t come here, WAIT come here - NO DON’T’ song. It really is about how I observed love, sex and dating as a girl growing up in Papua New Guinea - that desperation of lust and love that grows out of your secret fantasies for another and that silent after thought of whether it’s wise to fall that hard because it might be short lived.
