mikeee Shares New Single ‘head up high’

New Jersey-based singer and songwriter mikeee has just shared his brand new single head up high, a Bossanova-infused song about wanting to leave a toxic relationship but not being able to because you are too attached to that person.

I am really enjoying his silky smooth vocals and how they glide effortlessly over the upbeat production. head up high is a relatable song about being completely in love with someone but you know the relationship isn't healthy yet you struggle to get out of it. I am sure a lot of people can relate to this story and I love the way it is wrapped around a bright and upbeat production that instantly gave me summer vibes.

I am loving the way the song is packed with tons of rhythms, lush guitar strums, killer bassline and memorable Bossanova elements that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere perfect for a summer day. head up high is a breezy piece of music with smooth vocals and a summery vibe that I think you'll love. Speaking about the song, mikeee said,

this record is a verbalization of wanting to leave a toxic relationship but not being able to because you are too attached to that person. i've dealt with this feeling in the past and wound up doing damage to myself in the process. i've since learned from my mistakes and use music to express the feelings that are associated with 'being stuck' and to keep my 'head up high'.
