Karuna are taking over the folk realms with their new release, 'Heartsease'. The release is the first from the group in 2021, and it is a testament to their quality. Furthermore, the soundscape is exquisite, and it takes a leaf out of the songbook from centuries previous. 

Opening the release is Abi, who charms her way forward with a salient vocal delivery. She is empowering with her beautiful tones, leaving us hooked to every note. Also, the music is gripping, too, with the band delving deep into their musical chest and rising out with a fiddle and an archaic but yet enchanting sounding guitar.
