Felix Cartal Shares New Single ‘Only One’ ft. Karen Harding

Platinum Canadian DJ, Producer and King of Melodic House Felix Cartal has just shared his brand new single Only One, the latest single to be taken from his upcoming album, Expensive Sounds For Nice People, set to arrive on 25th of June via Physical Presents. 

For this song, the talented producer teamed up with British pop icon Karen Harding whose luscious, powerful vocals soar effortlessly over the upbeat, feel-good production. I am really enjoying Karen Harding's vocals and how they infuse the song with a touch of emotion while making it perfect to sing along to. Felix Cartal's unique production style is beautifully paired with Karen Harding's unforgettable style and together they deliver a fun, feel-good piece of Progressive House with an overall euphoric atmosphere perfect for the summer. Speaking about the song, Felix Cartal said,

I wrote this one with Karen, Chelsea, and Nick during a spontaneous session in LA. I feel like I have two modes when I make music, mode 1 would be something with an emotional heaviness, and mode 2 would be a response to just break away and make something that's more of an uplifting escape. It was the summer, and I definitely was in mode 2.

I loved this writing session. We were all on such a high, and I think it definitely came across in the song. We wanted to write a song about that overwhelming feeling of when you know someone is 'the one', we've all felt it at some point.
