Blanks Shares New Single ‘Turn Around’

Youtuber turned singer/producer Blanks has just shared his brand new single Turn Around, the second single to be taken from his upcoming album. 

Co-written by Eirik Naess and Joonas Parkkonen, Turn Around is a high-energy electro-pop song that emphasizes the strong connection people can have. This message is wrapped around a polished production packed with groovy guitars effortlessly intertwined with a memorable driving beat, shimmering synths and catchy percussion that instantly got me in a good mood and wanting to dance.

I am really fond of his vocals and how passionate his vocal delivery is, beautifully conveying the emotion of his storytelling. Accompanying the release, Blanks has shared its official music video, directed by Johan Verhoeven, which reunites viewers with a character earlier played by Blanks in his previous video. All music videos that belong to his album contribute to the central theme ‘Nothing Lasts Forever And That’s OK’ which vibe and stories will be shared on a newly launched Instagram page. Speaking about the song, Blanks said,

I wanted to write a song that said: ‘no matter what, you're the only one for me’. Something you can sing from the heart to your significant other, friends, or family. Every time I listen to ‘Turn Around’ and the chorus hits, the big synths and punchy drums give off so much energy I just can't help but sing along: ‘Would you believe me now if I said I need you now?
