Written by Susan and producer by Kory Burrell, We Could Never Be is a song about analysing a previous relationship from the outside looking, realising that it was a one-sided love which finally helps you move on. I am really enjoying her smooth vocals and how they are wrapped around a captivating electro-pop production packed with groovy guitar riffs beautifully intertwined with steady percussion, cool electronics and a memorable driving beat that create quite a warm, retro-tinged atmosphere perfect for a laid-back day at home.
