I am really enjoying her vocals and how they soar beautifully over the warm production. Bug Bites is a song that dives deep into human nature, from selfishness, pettiness, self-awareness, heartache to regret, and feeling power in the relief that comes from admitting a wrong. This is quite a cathartic journey that is wrapped around a memorable production packed with emotive piano chords, cool guitars and delicate strings that create a warm and intimate atmosphere for her storytelling to soar. I am very fond of the build up in energy in the bridge which beautifully matches the emotion pouring from her vocals and lyrics. Quite a memorable listening experience which I think you will enjoy.
