KOKO Share New Single ‘22s’ ft. Nina Chuba & Dillistone

Bristol-based trio KOKO are back with a gorgeous new single titled 22s, out now via Made Records.

For this song the UK trio teamed up with German rising star Nina Chuba and producer Dillistone to deliver a commanding electro-pop song with dark edged beats and shrill melancholy. I adore Oliver Garden's smooth, seductive vocals and how they are followed by Nina who joins from the chorus and lays down some unapologetic bars in her signature style. 22s is a song about a failed relationship and how sometimes you feel like you're damned if you do something and damned if you don't.

This relatable messaged is wrapped around a hypnotic electro-pop production packed with a driving deep beat that creates quite a dark and somewhat mysterious atmosphere. I am loving the energy of the song and how it makes me want to close my eyes and surrender to its infectious beat. Another gem by KOKO which you can check out below!

Speaking about the collaboration, KOKO said,

We instantly clicked and built the story of the song about a failed relationship. We felt we'd all been in the same situation where everything we did seemed to be wrong. When you constantly find yourself in these scenarios, it's that feeling of 'damned if you do and damned if you don't', a catch-22.

Nina and Dillistone added,

22s is a track about being a walking disaster you just can’t leave alone. Your flaws are perfect in all their messed up glory and if that makes you a living catch-22, then find someone who doesn’t mind playing with fire.
