haer Shares New Single ‘2+2’

Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter haer has just shared her brand new single 2+2, a chill piece of indie-pop music.

I am a fan of haer's warm, smooth vocals and how they instantly command the listener's attention to her relatable storytelling. Written after being stood up for the second time, 2+2 is haer's way to showcase her frustration with the situation and other misunderstandings that lead one to think they should just end the relationship and move on. I can absolutely relate to these musunderstandings and frustrations and I like the way haer wraps this message around a chill indie-pop production with intricate guitar riffs and steady percussion. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, haer said,

I wrote this song after someone I was supposed to meet with cancelled on me for the second time. It felt like one of the many frustrations we sometimes experience with close friends and partners. After continuous misunderstandings and inconsistent behavior, you wonder if it's time to write this relationship off and move on. This song is a letter to them.
