Rachel Siegel Shares New Single ‘Dancing by Myself’

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Rachel Siegel has just shared her brand new single Dancing by Myself, a catchy pop song about moving forward.

I am really enjoying Rachel's dulcet tones and how they infuse the song with a touch of warmth and vulnerability that contrasts with the energetic guitar riffs and punchy percussion. Dancing by Myself shares a positive message of moving forward, choosing to invest your time in yourself and grow. This relatable song is wrapped around a lovely indie-pop song with delicate piano chords enhancing the emotion from her vocal delivery and cool guitars and drums that give the song that extra touch of energy that matches the song's message.

Speaking about the song, Rachel Siegel said,

Dancing by Myself is about moving forward. I sat down on Valentine's Day 2018 and started writing about how I couldn't waste more time waiting around for someone who didn't actually want me. There's so much freedom in choosing yourself and I had to find a way to get back to that. Fast forward to 2020, the world stood still, and I had to find a way to keep moving forward. 

I called Elliott Marchent (my producer) and said, again, "I'm done waiting around." Elliott and I produced Dancing by Myself remotely, completely over zoom and finally, it's here. After almost an entire year where the only option has been to be Dancing by Myself, I'm so excited to finally have the opportunity to be Dancing by Myself with all of you.
