Felid Shares New Single ‘Invincible’

Bristol-based singer, songwriter and producer Felid has just shared his brand new single Invincible, a warm, electro-pop take on the conventional ballad.
The first single to be taken from his sophomore EP Knowing You, Part Two, Invincible is a song about being away from the person you love and yearning to be with them and hear their voice. This relatable song is wrapped around a lush production on which Felid fuses orchestral elements to his distinct alt-pop sounds. I am particularly fond of the cello quartet and how it is intertwined with layers of synth, piano and percussion which create a warm atmosphere for his gorgeous vocals and harmonies to soar. The song has also a dreamy, mellow touch that sounds perfect for those introspective days home alone. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song Felid said,
This one's about a classic moment of being far away from the person you absolutely adore. That needing to hear their voice and know that they know that you're missing them. Everyone listens to a load of different stuff. You might have your favourite genre or artist but at the end of the day you'll probably have different music for different times, right? I feel the same way about creating it. Sometimes I want to make something that people can't help but move to. Sometimes I want to make something to get people thinking. And sometimes, like this one, I'll make music because I fucking miss someone and want them to know it.
