CdR Shares New Single ‘Maze’ ft. Caitlyn
CdR, the moniker of British dance music producer Callum Drummond has just shared his brand new single Maze, featuring the vocals of singer-songwriter Caitlyn.
Maze is CdR's first release of 2021 and is an infectious piece of dance music that got me hooked right after the very first listen. This gem is the first single to come out from his upcoming EP and its lyrics, written by Caitlyn, talk about the crazy year that was 2020. I am really enjoying the tone of Caitlyn's vocals and how they infuse the song with a touch of emotion that is enhanced by those lush piano chords. I am also very fond of the cool synths and energetic percussion that make the song instantly memorable. Maze is a sun-soaked piece of EDM with gorgeous vocals, lush piano chords and an overall feel-good atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, CdR said,
This track was created just before Christmas and finally finished off a few weeks ago. The lyrics are written by a singer i met on Vocalizr with the intent of just creating lyrics about the current situations around the world. I am a big fan of this genre of music but i took a break from it with my previous EP. This is the first track of a current unnamed ep with the second track to release shortly after this one. I am a producer from Wolverhampton England with 6 years of making music under my belt.
