London-based singer and songwriter Tom Speight has just shared his brand new single Everything’s Waiting For You, the first single from his upcoming album set to arrive this Autumn.
I am really enjoying his smooth vocals and how they effortlessly convey the emotion of his relatable storytelling. Co-produced by Rich Turvey and Tom, Everything's Waiting For You is a catchy pop song about taking on the world with the ones you love and not looking back. This message is wrapped around a polished production packed with lush synths, cool guitar riffs, delicate piano chords and punchy drums that create an infectious anthemic atmosphere. Speaking about the song, Tom said,
Co-produced by Rich Turvey (Blossoms) and I in Rak Studios in August. This was a huge song for the album because it defined what the message is of the album in one song. I wrote it on my own the week before lockdown hit in the UK unaware what the future would hold.. it’s about taking on the world with your loved ones and not looking back.
