I am really enjoying her smooth, dulcet tones and the song's live instrumentation that makes me feel like I'm at a show watching her perform live. I am particularly fond of the drums and groovy guitar riffs and how they create a captivating feel-good atmosphere that enhances Raisa's vocal delivery. Someone Like You is a song of wanting to find THE ONE and find out how much different life would be with a special someone. I guess this song is written for me as I am the epitome of Forever Alone and do think how my life would be if I were in a relationship. Speaking about the song, Raisa said,
I wrote this song when I was 17 or 18 years old; on my journey to find the ONE, the love of my life. I was thinking about what it would be like to have one, because I've heard so many stories from friends and family about theirs. It wasn't necessary that I wanted one, I just wanted to have that experience and see how much different my everyday life would be with that special someone. For that reason I kept the song very lighthearted musically.
