LEEPA Shares New Single ‘Misery Loves Company’
Following the release of her lovely single Fiction, German singer and songwriter LEEPA returns with a brand new single titled Misery Loves Company, a cool piece of indie/electro-pop music.
I am a fan of her lush vocals and how they are effortlessly back by a captivating production by Kim Wennerström. I am particularly fond of the guitar plucks throughout the song and how they are beautifully paired with an infectious beat, memorable melodies and a chorus perfect to sing along to. Misery Loves Company is a relatable song about being hurt by someone in such a way that in the end it doesn't really hurt anymore. Have a listen to this playful indie/electro-pop gem below!
Speaking about the song, LEEPA said,
'MISERY LOVES COMPANY' is about being hurt by someone in such a way that in the end it doesn't really hurt anymore. You can no longer take it to heart because it's just so ridiculous. Somehow you reach the point where you realize that you have wasted far too much time with someone who pulls you down to feel better about themselves. But that doesn't work anymore when you realize your own worth and start to love yourself enough for both of them.
