"Gifted" is about an addictive love. I wanted to write a song about how I feel when I'm around him. I would do anything for this love. It's the type of relationship that I feel safe and cared for in - where I feel excited to know more about him. The lyrics, "I got stuff inside and feel like I can't fight it without you next to me," paint it out perfectly - I need him by my side going through it all with me.
