The Millennial Club Unveil New Single ‘girls that ain’t u’

SoCal-based dream pop band The Millennial Club have just unveiled their brand new single girls that ain't u, the latest single to be taken from their 6-track EP, summer nights, out now.

I am a big fan of Andres Owens' distinctive, smooth vocals and how they glide effortlessly over the warm, chilled out production packed with groovy guitar plucks, delicate piano keys and sun-soaked horns. This is a song about overwhelming passion for a love interest and is wrapped around a soulful-tinged indie-pop production with a sensual and laid-back atmosphere perfect for bedroom sessions and/or relaxing weekends. Check it out below!

Speaking about the EP, Andres Owens said,

Writing ‘summer nights’ felt cathartic in a lot of ways; the record as a whole feels like a release of emotions and tension within ourselves. I think for the longest time, I was obsessed with fitting into a self-described box and wanted so badly to ‘be like’ my musical inspirations, but with this record — perhaps unlike our previous releases — we really weren’t trying to be anything other than ourselves.
