Stormy J Shares New Single ‘Insomnia’
18-year-old Canadian artist, producer and lyricist Stormy J has just unveiled his brand new single Insomnia, his 7th single to date produced and recorded by himself in his bedroom.
I am really enjoying the tone of his vocals and how they soar beautifully over the chilled out production that effortlessly blends elements of Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Indie-R&B. Insomnia is a song abou tosing sleep over a girl he was talking to during high school, and then covid hit so the girl then says that she wants to remain as friends instead and keep talking. There's somewhat of a Drake-inspired vibe to this song that is quite captivating and I feel that it is perfect to dance to or to play while relaxing at home. Check it out below!
