KEiiNO Share New Single ‘A Winter’s Night’

Norway's pop powerhouse band KEiiNO have just shared their brand new single A Winter's Night, which sees the band slowing things down and singing about missing a loved one.

I am loving Alexandra Rotan's emotive vocal delivery and how the production allows it to soar effortlessly. This sounds like a Disney movie song and I think you guys will enjoy!

Written by Keiino, Alexander Olsson and Stein Roger Sordal, A Winter's Night is a smooth piece of music perfect to get you warm in a cold winter's day. The soundscape is airy, with emotive piano chords, acoustic instruments and a stunning string quartet that enhances the emotion pouring from Alexandra's vocals. This is a song about longing and describes going into a winter's night alone. A Winter's Night comes just in time for Christmas and for the current time we are facing with new lockdowns. A new lockdown can be difficult to deal with as the nights are getting longer, and unfortunately there are long waiting lists to get help through. Therefore, KEiiNO is donating half of the income from the song to a Mental Health Helpline. Check out this gorgeous song below!

Speaking about the song, the band says,

We like to change our personal playlists when it starts to get cold, the rain whips on the window and the wind howls outside the door. So we wanted to make a song that could give the listener a bit of the same effect as a big, soft blanket. At the same time, we wanted to address a theme that is important as we approach Christmas, a time that can evoke memories that make loneliness extra painful.
