Fantasillion Unveils New Single ‘Don’t Care’
Fantasillion, the pop project of Danish singer, songwriter and producer Kim Glad Wagner, has just shared his brand new single Don't Care, the follow-up to his groovy, energetic pop single Need a Way Out.
Like its predecessor, Don't Care has an infectious energy that instantly makes it a memorable listening experience. This is an upbeat pop song that shares a powerful message of not letting haters get you down with their nasty, hateful comments. These things tend to happen to those that stand out from the crowd and jealous people always want to have an opinion which ends up being negative most of the times. It's quite an anthemic piece of indie-pop music on which Fantasillion's lush vocals soar beautifully over infectious melodies packed with lush guitar riffs, punchy drums and an overall feel-good, anthemic atmosphere that is perfect to sing along to.
Accompanying the release, Fantasillion has shared a captivating music video where he shares the spotlight with Rasmus Modsat. Rasmus is a true queen of creating and wearing beautiful and expressive costumes which he and Fantasillion uses to deliver the message of the song. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Fantasillion said,
This song is originally written for and about my wife. She’s a public figure and I was really surprised to learn about all the hatefull messages that hit her inbox. She’s actually quite good at not caring, but sometimes it gets to her - and I really hate when it does:
‘I hate when they get to you, Hate when they hit where it hurts, Don’t let them under your skin,
Shut it out, don’t let them in’
Don't Care is taken from Fantasillion's upcoming self-titled debut EP set to arrive on November 27th!
