Barrett Crake Shares ‘You Got Me Like’ Music Video
Electronic pop artist Barrett Crake has just shared the official music video for his new single You Got Me Like, a fun, energetic and danceable electro-pop song about the excitement behind making a bad decision.
I am really fond of the way Barrett Crake perfectly captures that moment when you listen to the devil on your shoulder for a moment of pleasure, knowing the angel on the other shoulder was probably right all along. Co-written with Bonnie Dymond, You Got Me Like encapsulates the feeling of being stuck in the tangle created by making impulsive decisions, albeit fun experiences in the moment, but comes with its consequences. This relatable represents pain, growth, nostalgia, and joy all at once and is wrapped around a highly infectious electro-pop production with a memorable chorus that got me singing along to it right after the very first listen.
To accompany the release, Barrett shared a fun music video, directed by Matt Cady, which allows for Barrett to showcase his dancing skills and how he loves his plants, hehe. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song/video, Barrett Crake said,
This is easily the most fun and energetic song I've ever made and it excites me so much. Most of my songs have been chill and this is the first one where I absolutely had to dance and choreograph for a fully produced music video.
