Too Famous For Me is a song inspired by a crush ALEJ had on someone that he felt to be unattainable because they were too popular for him. Speaking about the song, ALEJ said,
This was inspired after having the most intense crush on someone I felt was unattainable because they were “too popular” for me. I decided to use celebrity culture (I.e. the chorus) as a metaphor to describe how I was feeling.
