Norwegian singer and songwriter Ruben has just released his brand new single, Dear God, taken from his upcoming EP set to arrive in 2021.

Dear God is a powerful pop gem inspired by a complicated relationship of one of Ruben's friends that struggled to let go of it. This relatable song is wrapped around a captivating pop production packed with infectious melodies and passionate vocals. I am particularly fond of Ruben's vocals (especially those belts) and how they soar effortlessly over the pop production, beautifully enhacing the emotion of his storytelling and making the song quite a memorable listening experience. Speaking about the song, Ruben said,

Dear god was inspired by a complicated relationship that one of my friends had with someone else a while back. I wrote it from my friends perspective and how it was hard to let go even though it wasn’t good for them in the long run.
