British singer and songwriter Lissy Taylor has just shared her brand new single High, taken from her personally-driven Wildflowers EP, out now.
I am a big fan of Lissy' Taylor's alluring femme-fatale vocals and how they are beautifully backed by a guitar-led, smokey indie-rock production. Loving how the fiery guitar riffs, driving rock percussions, jangling tambourine and plentiful expansive reverb back her lush vocals and create quite a hypnotic, somewhat sensual, atmosphere that keeps me coming back to it over and over again. High pivots with all the untamed and youthful energy that Lissy portrays so distinctly through her indie-rock sound and is definitely a standout track off of the EP. Check it out below!
