Phoenix-based indie-folk-rock duo Cass & Crossland have just unveiled their brand new single Adeline, a reflection on how doing what everyone thinks you're supposed to do doesn't always make you happy.

I am really enjoying how effortless and relatable their storytelling is, instantly capturing the listener's attention to a story I fully relate to. I am loving those distinctive vocals and how they are backed by lush acoustic guitars that create quite a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a good storytelling. The song then builds with cool drums, lush strings and piano chords, culminating in a highly anthemic bridge that will get you singing along to it in no time. Adeline is such a gorgeous piece of indie-folk music with lush harmonies and cool guitars reminding me a bit of acts such as The Lumineers and Hudson Taylor. Check it out below!
