Among The Acres Unveil New Single ‘Dreamcatcher’

Following their banjo-driven, foot-stomper single Devil's Cut, which came out earlier this month, Connecticut-based indie/americana/rock quartet Among The Acres return with yet another gorgeous piece of music titled Dreamcatcher.

I am a fan of Michael Day's lovely vocals and how they are packed with so much emotion, instantly engaging the listener's attention to his honest storytelling. Dreamcatcher is a love song written for all those we’ve lost along the way and to show us that over time pain can become a source of strength. 

Songwriter Michael Day wrote this as a tribute to his wife and the issues they have faced together trying to start their family. The song is a way to let people know that they aren't alone and to help them talk about their struggles. I am really enjoying the warm and intimate production of the song with intricate acoustic guitar melodies beautifully backing Michael Day's warm vocals, creating quite a comforting atmosphere.
