Alith Berndarn Shares New Single ‘Aftermath’
Vienna-native and Hamburg-based producer / visual artist Alith Berndarn is back with his brand new single Aftermath, the fourth single to be taken from his highly-anticipated EP, Lucid Scent.
I am really enjoying how Alith Berndarn beautifully pairs his gorgeous sound with captivating visuals and Aftermath continues to showcase his talents as a produced and visual artist. This is quite a hypnotic piece of electronic music with House touches and an overall chill vibe. I am very fond that Alith continued to introduce his signature chirping birds sounds that effortlessly accentuate the transition into the first main section of the track. Really enjoying the echoing vocal fx, rhythmic intonations in the forms of the ubiquitous percussions and subtle drums which are beautifully accompanied by a crunchy bassline.

....Aftermath is about the feelings I had while realizing that I was finally taking the first steps into a new section of my life. After moving away from my home city Vienna, and beginning a new job in Hamburg, Germany, I was just feeling the aftereffects of the new chapter in my life: A mixture between endless joy, nervousness, the fear of losing sight and coevally the amazement of knowing what comes and what could come next. Being a student for years and stuck in that mindset, it was frightening at first sight but incredible on second sight. Hence, this piece is the aural definition of haunting thoughts on failure mixed with the energetic feeling of being into a new section in life.
