XY&O Unveil New Single ‘A Wilder Way’

Welsh-based haze-pop trio XY&O return with a lovely new single titled A Wilder Way, taken from their upcoming debut album set to arrive in early 2021!
A Wilder Way shows a more raw and organic side to their music, marking a departure from their usual synth-heavy sound and I am very fond of this change. This is a song about wanting someone who doesn't want you back and you reluctantly accept it with no hard feelings. This very relatable message is wrapped around an eclectic instrumental and a sparkling guitar section on which Skip Curtis' vocals are beautifully laid upon. Even though this is a song about heartache, its upbeat production makes it perfect to dance to. I am really enjoying the song's laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing weekend at home. Check it out below!

This is one of the saddest songs I’ve ever written and definitely the saddest we’ve released. We didn’t want to kill the XY&O vibe though, so even though it’s a heart-breaker, you can still dance to it. Dance through the pain.
